Hotel Coffee Station and Cabinet: In-Room Tea and Coffee Corner Design

A coffee station looks simple on a plan. The details decide whether it works: heat, steam, sockets, minibar air and storage. This page lists what to settle before the cabinet is drawn.

IN SHORT

List the appliances first, take their real dimensions and ventilation needs, then plan sockets, the top material and storage. A minibar, a kettle and a capsule machine in one cabinet need different clearances, so write them on the drawing.

1 · TYPES

Station types

Three layouts fit most hotel rooms.

01

Tall cabinet

Minibar and coffee zone in one unit, with doors that close over the appliances.

02

Low console

A lower unit with a tray top and a drawer. It leaves the wall above free for a mirror or a screen.

03

Desk or credenza corner

A section of the desk or a side unit holds the kettle and cups. It saves floor space in small rooms.

2 · STEPS

How to plan the station

Start from the equipment.

List the equipment

Kettle, capsule or filter machine, minibar, cups, tray and any water supply.

Take real dimensions

Ask the appliance supplier for size, door swing and the air gap the minibar needs.

Plan power

Place sockets so cables do not cross the work surface. Add cable holes where cables pass through the furniture.

Choose the top

Pick a top that tolerates heat, steam, water and cups. Check the edge and the joint.

Approve a sample

Put the real appliances in the sample and use them.

3 · REQUEST

What to put in the request

Send these with the drawing.

  • Appliance list with brand, model and dimensions
  • Minibar ventilation requirement from the supplier
  • Socket and cable positions
  • Top material and edge detail
  • Storage needs: cups, capsules, tea, waste
  • Door or open-shelf choice
4 · WATCH

What to watch

Four problems that are easy to prevent.

  • A minibar without an air gap runs hot and noisy. Follow the supplier values.
  • Steam from a kettle damages the underside of a shelf or door. Keep it clear.
  • Water ring marks on a weak top. Use a surface made for wet use.
  • Cables hang in front of the cabinet. Plan the cable route from the start.

6 · QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Where should the sockets go in a coffee station?

Place them inside or at the back of the unit so cables stay out of sight. We mark them on the drawing with the hole positions.

Can the minibar and the coffee corner share one cabinet?

Yes, in a tall cabinet or a long console. The minibar needs the air gap its supplier gives, so write it on the drawing.

What top material suits a coffee station?

Choose a surface made for water and heat, then check the edges and joints. We confirm the options for your project before quoting.

Do you make the cabinet to our drawing?

Yes. We quote from the drawing item by item and approve a mock-up before series production.

Send your equipment list and room drawing.

We will quote the station item by item.
