I-HOTEL Project Workflow
How project files move through review, initial costing, approvals, production, sourcing, packing and shipment coordination.
This page shows how an I-HOTEL project moves after we receive the available drawings, BOQ, room types, quantities and specifications. The sequence covers scope review, initial costing, technical approvals, mock-up when needed, furniture production, complementary sourcing, quality checks, packing and shipment coordination.
A hotel FF&E project involves more than one process. This page focuses on the I-HOTEL project sequence as a manufacturer and project supplier. It does not try to replace the owner's full procurement program or the detailed factory manufacturing process.
How project files move through review, initial costing, approvals, production, sourcing, packing and shipment coordination.
For wider planning around BOQs, scope, suppliers and procurement decisions, use the Hotel FF&E Procurement Guide.
For the factory sequence after technical approval, use the Hotel Furniture Manufacturing Process.
The exact scope can vary by project, but the order below keeps commercial decisions, technical approvals and production release clear.
We review the available drawings, BOQ, furniture schedules, room types, quantities, dimensions, materials, finishes, project location and other information that affects the furniture or FF&E scope.
After the project information is reviewed, initial costing is prepared for a representative room or another agreed furniture scope. We do not need an approximate client budget to start this review.
If the initial costing level is accepted, dimensions, construction details, interfaces, hardware and other production information are developed and coordinated against the latest approved project documents.
Veneers, laminates, lacquer colors, upholstery, metal finishes, hardware and other visible or functional details are confirmed from project specifications and approved samples.
Where the project requires it, a prototype or full-scale mock-up room can be used to check proportions, finishes, hardware, comfort, furniture interfaces and other details before larger quantities are released.
Approved custom furniture enters production. Where complementary FF&E is included in the agreed scope, those items are coordinated separately through suitable specialist suppliers in Turkey.
Manufactured furniture is checked against approved project information before packing. Packaging, item labels and loading preparation are planned according to furniture type, destination and shipment method.
Loading, export documents, road or sea shipment, delivery responsibilities and any required installation information are coordinated according to the destination, Incoterms and commercial agreement.
A workflow becomes easier to manage when each handoff has a clear decision. These are the main control points in our project sequence.
Drawings, quantities and specifications are clear enough to define the agreed costing scope.
The project team accepts the initial costing level before detailed technical development continues.
Drawings, dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware and samples are signed off for the agreed scope.
The approved information is released for manufacturing and any agreed complementary sourcing.
The quotation and project documents should keep manufactured furniture and partner-sourced FF&E clearly separated. That makes responsibilities, approvals and technical documentation easier to control.
Core custom furniture can be manufactured by I-HOTEL in İnegöl, Bursa according to approved drawings, quantities, materials, finishes and technical requirements.
See the manufacturing process →Doors, access systems, selected lighting, curtains, carpets, room equipment and other complementary products can be coordinated through specialist suppliers when they are included in the approved project scope.
See Hotel FF&E Solutions →You do not need every document to make first contact. Send the information already available, and we can identify what is still needed for the agreed scope.
Each page below owns a different part of the project. Use them when you need more detail without turning this workflow page into a general procurement or manufacturing guide.
Short answers to the questions that usually affect the order of review, costing, approvals and production release.
Send the project information already available, such as drawings, BOQ or furniture schedules, room types, quantities, materials, finishes, specifications and project location. Missing information can be identified during the first review.
Normally, no. We first review the project information and prepare initial costing for a representative room or agreed furniture scope. Detailed technical development and shop drawings follow after the initial costing level is accepted.
The project can move into detailed technical development, shop drawings, material and finish coordination, hardware review, samples and other approvals needed before production release.
No. A mock-up room or prototype is used when it is useful or required by the project. The need depends on project scale, design complexity, approval requirements and the agreed scope.
No. Core custom furniture can be manufactured in-house in İnegöl, Bursa. Complementary FF&E items can be sourced through specialist suppliers when they are included in the approved project scope.
There is no single fixed duration. Timing depends on project size, drawing readiness, approval speed, mock-up requirements, material availability, production scope, complementary sourcing, packing and shipment method.
Installation or site supervision should not be assumed as standard. If these services are required, the responsibilities, location, timing and commercial terms should be confirmed separately in the project agreement.
Send the project information you already have. We review the scope first, identify missing information where needed and then prepare initial costing for the agreed furniture package.
