Project Overview

Room-by-Room Furniture Production from the Interior Architect's AutoCAD Drawings

Granada Hotel is a 5-star hospitality project in Najaf, Iraq. I-HOTEL Furniture completed the hotel's furniture program in 2018, manufacturing project-specific furniture in İnegöl, Bursa for the 64-room property and its principal public and dining areas.

The interior concept and AutoCAD drawings were supplied by the hotel's interior architect. I-HOTEL's role was to translate those approved drawings into manufacturable furniture, coordinate dimensions and construction details, apply the specified finishes and produce the required furniture room by room.

Natural Sapelli wood veneer and lacquer-painted surfaces created the project's primary material language, while upholstered seating, mattresses and coordinated public-area furniture completed the wider hospitality package.

Beyond the guest rooms, I-HOTEL supplied tables and chairs for the restaurant, cafe, breakfast hall and shisha lounge, extending the production scope into the hotel's core food-and-beverage spaces.

From Drawings to Finished Furniture

One Interior Concept. Multiple Room Types. Project-Specific Production.

Granada was not produced from a standard furniture catalogue. Each room type was reviewed against the architect's AutoCAD documentation so that dimensions, furniture combinations, finishes and installation requirements could be manufactured for the actual hotel program.

01Architect's AutoCAD Drawings

Interior and furniture drawings supplied the approved design basis.

02Room-Type Review

Furniture requirements were reviewed separately for the hotel's room configurations.

03Production Detailing

Dimensions, joints, substrates, veneer and lacquer details were prepared for manufacturing.

04Custom Manufacturing

Project furniture was produced in İnegöl, Bursa to the approved documentation.

05Finish & Quality Control

Sapelli veneer, lacquer surfaces, hardware and assemblies were checked before dispatch.

06Hospitality Package

Guest-room production was coordinated with seating, mattresses and F&B furniture supply.

Natural Timber Character

Natural Sapelli Wood Veneer

Natural Sapelli veneer introduced a warm reddish-brown timber character across the hotel furniture. The veneer was applied to project-specific casegoods and coordinated with the room-by-room production drawings rather than used as a standard stock finish.

Coordinated Finish System

Lacquer-Painted Furniture Surfaces

Lacquer-painted elements were used alongside the natural veneer to create contrast and consistency across the guest-room furniture. The combination allowed the approved interior concept to be carried through different furniture pieces and room configurations.

Guest-Room Furniture

Furniture Manufactured for the Actual Room Types — Not Adapted from Ready Stock

The Granada program required individual room furniture to follow the hotel's approved interior drawings. Casegoods, bedside elements, headboard-related furniture, storage pieces and other room items were manufactured around the dimensions and layout requirements shown in the architect's AutoCAD files.

This approach kept the Sapelli veneer and lacquer finish language consistent while allowing different room configurations to receive furniture specific to their layout.

DESIGN AUTHORSHIP KEPT CLEAR The hotel's interior architect supplied the design drawings. I-HOTEL Furniture executed the manufacturing and project-specific furniture production from those approved documents.
Beyond the Guest Rooms

Restaurant, Cafe, Breakfast Hall & Shisha Lounge Furniture

The project scope extended into Granada Hotel's food-and-beverage areas. I-HOTEL supplied the tables and chairs required for multiple hospitality venues, creating a broader furniture package beyond the 64 guest rooms.

01Restaurant Furniture

Commercial tables and chairs supplied for the hotel's main dining environment.

02Cafe Furniture

Hospitality tables and seating coordinated for cafe use and daily guest service.

03Breakfast Hall

Tables and chairs supplied for breakfast service and high-frequency hospitality use.

04Shisha Lounge

Lounge-oriented tables and seating supplied for a distinct public-area hospitality setting.

05Lobby & Public Areas

Sofas, armchairs and complementary furniture forming part of the wider hotel package.

06Guest-Room Comfort

Mattresses and upholstered items supplied alongside the custom manufactured casegoods.
